So my friend started talking to this guy 2 years ago (she was 16) but the problem is he's in his 40s. He has a kid who is about 9 yrs old so my friend would always use spending time with the son that as an excuse to spend time with the man. But actually they were the ones talking and he even went to her house when she was home alone kissed her. The talking only lasted a few months before his gf (yes he was technically cheating) got suspicious so he stopped talking to my friend.

I thought that was the end of it but i just found out theyre still talking and she'll be 18 in 2 months which would make it legal but im still worried about him just using her and ruining her life.

I told my mom about it and she said she would talk to my friend's mom, did i do the right thing? I feel guilty.
