Should i expect my guest to pay for their own tickets?

The reason im asking this is well to see wat i need to budget into my expenses. Im not having a destination wedding im looking to move hopefully in the middle of the coming yr and most of my guest r from my hometown in CA and im looking to move to AZ but the ticket thing has got me all hung up im looking at hotels that host ceremony and receptions so that way my guests can get a discounted price for their rooms.

If they can't come, then oh well. That's not for you to worry about. You already have to worry about your wedding. Paying for their flights is not your responsibility. That would be waaaaay to much to pay for out of your own pocket

It depends what type of person you are. I was brought up that you meaning bride and groom pay for everything. Meaning bridal party’s dresses shoes everything. Including hotel stay for out of town guests. But not for 100 people. Obvi. I think it’s def the classy way to go. Guests shouldn’t have to spend hundreds or more to attend a wedding that’s silly imo.

They pay their own way. I’m having the same issue as I’m living on the east coast, but the majority of guests are from SoCal. We decided on a fall wedding during lower fare months.
