will I get my period?

on my current b/c, I don't get a period. at all. so I haven't had a period since I was 17 (I'm 21 now). I just got switched to a different pill because they discontinued the one I was taking. will I get my period? I kind of hope not haha

If you're using the pill, you can always skip the placebo week and begin a new pack immediately. This will allow you to not have a period. It's called rapid-cycling, and you can do it with any combination method (pill, patch, or ring).

Basically, take the first 21 (or 24) pills on time, at the same time, every day. Instead of starting the sugar pills, throw out the pack and start a brand new one, just like you would when you get your period.

BUT you can only do this if you're taking what's called a monophasic pill - the easiest way to tell this is if the first three rows of pills are all the same color. If they're a different color each week, you're on a triphasic pill, and the above method won't work.
