Has anyone been upset over finding out someone that just shouldnt get pregnant is expecting??while you have been trying for a while?

So i just found out one of my husbands family members is pregnant..i was speechless lets just say they are not in the best situation to be having a baby....she knows i have been trying for over 3years...i had mixed emotions..but a blessing is a blessing and God only knows why ??have any of you guys gone thru this??

I don't believe it's fair to say someone shouldn't have kids and you should have over them. Just because she maybe didn't plan or wasn't in the best situation doesn't mean she won't love a baby as much as you could. I understand it's hard when you want it so bad yourself but nobody knows anyone else's story and we should never be jealous. We should celebrate and be supportive.

Jealousy is humanity. Not a great thing most says but it depends how you use it.. To be a positive motivation or a negative downer. I'm sure it's upsetting knowing someone who's not in their best fit to have a child and who may not have tried as hard to have one and suddenly they're blessed with one and you're not when you've tried enough. Take a look at it this way though.. As you stated they're not yet fit to have a child, maybe this child will motivate them to be fit parents and maybe you haven't been blessed yet with a child because something better may come your way. I believe everything happens for. A reason, is up to you how you want to understand it. Keep trying and good luck!

My best friend was having a baby , in labor hall while I was going through a miscarriage. I remember that feeling all too well but I put a smile on for her and went to see the baby. Its a normal human emotion... just try not to show that to his family and her. She may need you for support if shes not in the best situation

I feel your pain and think it's completely normal, we just welcomed a new niece into the world, been trying three years to give our son a sibling, and still no luck, also seeing lots of new mommys to be on fb constantly talking about being pregnant and my jealous side wants to rear it's ugly head... Trying very hard to be happy for some but seriously, one couple still lives with his parents.. It's frusterating and very upsetting but I believe it's normal to feel these feelings...

My hubby's relative accidentally got Oregon a few months ago, a year b4 her wedding. She decided it wasn't the right time and she got an abortion. It HURTS so freakin bad. On top of that she took the preg tests at my house so I had to actually be there for her through it which I don't mind but I couldn't help but be so sad it's not fair

Telling the woman who posted this that she can't feel jealous is ridiculous. Jealousy is absolutely normal, it's not like she's being destructive. It's no-ones place to say how she should feel, she asked if anyone had experienced it not whether she's justified in feeling this way. More ppl have experienced this than they would probably want to admit to, but yes, I most certainly have.

Well it sure as hell isn't jealousy and I never, ever want to conceive, but yes I've been extremely saddened by the news of certain incompetent people that can't even care for themselves reproducing.

It took my husband and I a few months longer to conceive than I had expected/hoped, and in that time I really struggled with knowing just a year and a half ago my brother and his girlfriend had a baby and put her up for adoption. He wouldn't let us take her because he wanted a closed adoption, but then for me struggling to conceive was extra upsetting. How could he accidentally have one and give her away when I wanted one so badly? It's hard and I don't blame you at all!

My sister in law told us she is pregnant a few weeks ago, at first I was a tad bit sad because they hadn't been trying and I have for almost a year (got pregnant in between and lost it). But now I'm happy for her and I'm not giving up I'm  hoping maybe we can be pregnant together! That would be cute :)
