Personally, I think you should let this boy go. You have clearly been through so much with him and I know that it will be hard for you to not speak to him anymore but you need to think about yourself and how he is making you feel.

My boyfriend and I had fun together in the beginning, but we fought SO bad over every single little thing. We broke up twice in the first year of our relationship, only for a couple weeks, then when we were together for two years, we did end up splitting up for 6 months. We got back together and everything has worked out amazingly. We have been back together for over 3 years now, and if you don't coins that 6 month breakup, then we have been together for almost 6 years. If you think you can work it out, do it. Try. If not, then leave. Go on with your lives and maybe one day you will find your way back to one another.

I don't think you should try again because he'll just hurt you again. If he really wants you bad, then he shouldn't be causing arguments with you. If you've been on and off for a while and he really wants to make a go at things then he should stop being petty an actually try with you. He's a dick but if you're in love then it's harder to let go than you think

My boyfriend and I were in the same boat for a while.  We fought over how much we texted our hung out with or texted our friends and so much more. That all can be tiring and frustrating but sometimes it's worth it. No matter what anyone says you will argue with any person you love lol.  It's inevitable. You just need to figure out whether he is worth it or not.  If you are in love with him and see a future with him then stay with him and you guys work it out and compromise like adults! If you don't, then let him know how you feel and who knows, just you telling him know how you feel could change everything for the better between you two. If not, things will be okay and you'll find someone else in time.
