Do you think age matters when it comes to a relationship?

I am 14 and my boyfriend just turned 17. A lot of people say we're "too young to be in love" I just don't believe that's the case. He respects me and I've never felt like this with anyone else before. Our parents definitely see the sparks and think we will last. What's your opinion? Please no hate..

it depends.. bc it only looks bad when youre a teenager. a 14 year old going out with a 17 year old looks bad now, but if you were 22 and he was 25 (since you guys are 3 years apart) it seems completely normal..

At that age, it would feel like love is everything and all of it is real. But becareful, because it always isn't the case. Just don't be blinded by love too much, or it will come back you really hard unfortunately

My SO is 20 years older than me. I doubt my parents will be happy, but I don't see him for his age. I see him for his soul, for his heart, for how he makes me feel safe, protected, and loved. Even my friends all swear he's perfect for me and they all approve highly! So, age is just a number as long as you're happy and not being abused in any way, I say go for it! :)
