What does Virginity mean to you?

Lately I've been wondering what does it truly mean to lose you virginity because I know that once it's gone it's gone for good. So I am wonder does the person and the experience truly matter? This is coming from someone who is a virgin and waiting for the right person.

My virginity wasn't important to me, but I am not sentimental. I don't even remember or know when our anniversary is. We just celebrate in April when we have time.

In my opinion everyone as a different aspect on virginity and no one can really tell you what it means or what it should 
It's up to you what it means 
I lost my virginity when I was almost 17 to this guy I really loved and we are still together if you think waiting is better unroll you find the right one well that's good just keep on waiting the right guy would come around and he won't mind having to wait

To me it's sentimental ans symbolic, for both sexes. Everyone remembers they're first, regardless the type of experience. Now, should it be held over anyones head for any reason? No.

It wasn't that important to me. But everyone is different. When I got with my husband I knew from the start that he was special and decided to hold out untill I was sure he loved me. I was with a few people before him.

I didn't think of it as "losing it". I thought of it as giving it away to someone who I know will take responsibly of it and take care of me.
