To soon to tell?

Question

I am only about 6 weeks in but haven't had the doctor confirm the pregnancy yet. I was really hoping to tell everyone at Christmas since our whole family will be together. Should I wait?

I'm in the same boat. 6 weeks. First ultrasound isn't until after Christmas. But we're planning to tell our families on Christmas day. We'd have told them sooner but we want to save it for Christmas. :) The way I see it, I would want my family to support me if I have a miscarriage. And the sheer joy that this will bring them will absolutely be worth it, even if things don't turn out like I so dearly hope they will.

Its up to you!! I told at about 4 1/2 weeks and I'm now almost 8 weeks. We couldn't contain our excitement!
