Rings. When to get them?

We are engaged. I have my ring but I wanna get him one. Is that weird or should I wait until we just get married to get him a ring??

My husband was pretty cute and said he wanted an engagement ring. I got him a silver band for $400. I took it the week before our wedding and had something engraved in it for him and now it's his wedding ring ;)

I wish I could get my husband a ring! He can't wear one because of his work (aircraft mechanic). One of his friends literally lost his finger wearing a ring on the job. So we went untraditional....he got me a ring that I wear in public, but our daily piece of jewelry are necklaces that match that say "I love you" in each others hand writing

Traditionally men don't wear "engagement" rings. They get their ring on the wedding day, but that doesn't mean yall can't be different.

Why shouldn't he wear his ring now? It can be his engagement ring and then it can just be carried over to be his wedding bamd

My fiancé wants one and is getting one for Christmas. But it's just a cheap $40 one since he works in the oilfield. He is getting a different one when we get married that will be more durable  (even though he still won't be able to wear it on the rig).

I'm from Sweden and in Sweden men wear engagement rings. My American fiancé wanted to honor my culture and he wears one too.

Ask him if he wants one. If he does, great. If not that's okay too ;)

My husband doesn't wear a ring because he's an electrician, he could be hurt with it on. I don't wear a ring because my hands swell so much in changing weather and I'm also allergic to a lot of metals so it's just easier. For instance I have to wear earrings that are gold plated with 18k gold or else my ears go red and swell. I also can't wear surgical steal in my belly button cuz I got a keloid that had to be dealt with by my piercer and we had to go with 925 silver.
