Zzzquil and early pregnancy?

Hi! I'm not sleeping at alllll.  :/  I'm about 3 -4 weeks preggers and I want to take Zzzquil!  Is this ok? Due to the holiday I can't get into my doc to ask? Any one know if this is safe?

The only thing that a woman pregnant can drink is panadol (acetaminophen)

Zzzquil is diphenhydramine...aka Benadryl. It's a category B, which means it's not expected to harm an unborn baby. That said, you should never take any medications in pregnancy without first consulting your healthcare provider! Your personal situation may mean that a drug that is generally considered safe is not okay for you.

I've read that you can take unisom or benadryl to help you sleep while pregnant.  I wouldn't take zquil without asking your doctor first.

I don't think it's safe. benidryl is, though. I so spelled it wrong lol

My doctor suggested unisom, Tylenol pm or benedryl to help me sllep. Trying it tonight!
