How did your Christmas Announcement go?

We told my parents yesterday. This will be their first grandchild and had basically given up on it ever happening, since I'd been vocal in the past about not wanting kids. They were shocked. They both cried! They were sooooo happy!! It was everything I hoped it would be! And then they were so sad when I told them they had to keep it a secret for 2 more weeks! I think they both just want to shout it from the rooftops!
