Tell me about Nexplanon?

I'm thinking about getting the Nexplanon birth control, so I just wanted some feedback. What do you like about it? What sucks? Side-effects? Thank you in advance!!!

I had it for a year before I got it taken our 2 months ago. I didn't gain any weight or anything and I have chronic migraines but the nexplanon actually didn't make them any worse. I didn't get a period for the majority of the time but towards the end I had a really light, constant one for about 3 weeks. It wasn't terrible and I never had any cramps like I used to. The only reason I got it out was because it severely affected my sex drive. I had absolutely none. And it was painful during intercourse. After getting it out, my sex drive is back to normal And it's not as painful to have sex. I've heard from a lot of girls that they don't experience that so it all depends :p I really enjoyed having the nexplanon until I didn't want to have sex ever.. Haha I  hope this helps.

I got it a week ago so I have very limited input so far, but... insertion was a breeze, my arm bruised pretty badly but that's normal and it's almost gone now. My issue so far was that it was giving me HORRIBLE headaches, all day. I was taking ibuprofen 3x a day to keep up, but today is the first full day headache free, so I'm thrilled. I've noticed my breasts were a little tender and have gotten a bit larger too, which is crazy to me but hey, I'll take it, I have almost nothing there anyway. ?

I got it about 2 months ago. I have had my period for over 6 weeks. Sometimes it is light and other times it is really heavy. It really depends on the way your body will react with the hormones.
