Do you think twin names have to go together?

Examples include: rhyming names (sound alike)  or names that start with the same letter?

I am having boy/girl twins and don't like matching names but lots of people do....

No, but they shouldn't be too different. My cousins are Ryan and Kyle. Goes very well. They're both short and have the letter y!

If the names are  too similar it makes them seem like accessories to each other not their own person.  My twin sister and I were often referred to as both of our names combined. Even if we were alone. ..  And even Caused some identity issues not only between our selves but now as an adult we've had quite a few  issues  with billing and doctors appointments etc.

My brother & I are twins, Travis & Lindsay. But I have twin cousins whose names do go together: Adrain & Ashley; Jenny & Jason.
