What is the difference between a chemical and an ectopic pregnancy?

I had an ectopic and a ruptured tube with internal bleeding and emergency surgery. They are extremely dangerous and life threatening as well as emotionally devastating!! You see that baby on ultrasound, forming arm and leg buds, with a heartbeat and you CAN'T keep it. Wouldn't wish it on anybody for any reason.

Chemical pregnancy is when the egg was fertilized but never actually implanted in the uterus. And ectooic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus.
