Bleeding?

My DH and I had sex tonight and I just had some pink when I wiped. I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Is this bad?

I had  the same thing happen a few days ago, around 5w5d with my 1st. After describing to my midwife, she said it was actually very common to have some minor bleeding when friction happens to your cervix, such as sex or Pap smear, especially when you're pregnant. It has to do with the increasing blood volume and blood flow to the cervix. She told me to monitor it, specifically watching for heavy bleeding that was bright red and/or clotting, as well as severe cramping and to call ASAP if it worsened. Also, to take it easy and refrain from sex until all signs of spotting stopped. Mine lasted about 4 trips to the bathroom and has stopped. Good luck!

You may have just wiped too hard.. Just take it easy and rest with your feet above your heart
