How did you ladies take care of a yeast infection?

Just curious as I seem to be getting them more frequently.

When to the doctor they gave me a pill, was a one time pill and the yeast infection was gone after 3 days

The vagina has a normal balance of bacteria and yeast (a fungus) ......you need to take Monistat, and eating yogurt can help balance the flora, but you need the anti fungal in the monistat for sure....to prevent them, make sure you wear underwear with a cotton liner, change panties often, use pantiliners if you have a lot of discharge ......yeast infections happen in warm, moist places, and if the flora is off (too many normal bacteria die...if you are taking antibiotics etc).... hope you feel better soon!!!

Monistat burns very very bad I hated it ! I went an got antibiotics from Dr.

I did Monistat. It helped! Don't get baths, use bubbles, I can't even use scented body wash.

I get a pill that I take once from my doc. I normally don't even have to see him. It works like a charm.

Depends how bad it is. I take cranberry tablets daily because I constantly have them from medical conditions. If it gets bad and starts to spread to my kidneys I go on antibiotics. And plenty of water to flush it out.
