Do you think is right to propose right after you find our of a pregnancy!?

Hey! I just got engaged, me and my boyfriend found out we was expecting on Friday, after finding out we was both in shock but we are okay with it! Yesterday he propose to me and i said "yes" i didnt want to say "no", but some part of me feels like he just propose because am pregnant, it just doesnt feel right! What you guys think?

My husband proposed when we announced our pregnancy to my parents. But he was planning it before we found out. I think it's ok if his intentions are genuine. I would talk with him if you are worried he only proposed because you are pregnant.

Don't get married just because you have a baby. Being engaged is totally fine. He's making a commitment to you. He might want it he might feel obligated. This is a conversation you need to have with him.

It depends. If you have a happy, healthy relationship then it could be fine. Not to drag you down but I have seen multiple relationships fail because they only got married due to pregnancy. Just don't rush into anything and think it through. A healthy friendship between separated mom and dad is far better for the child than growing up in a home where the parents are only together due to obligation.

Are you happy and healthy in this relationship?  That's what you should ask.  Getting married with a child will only complicate life, it's hard so make sure your relationship is strong and healthy - if it is then what a great environment for a child.  The baby comes first.  Do what will make you and the baby healthy and happy.  Good luck!

I'm currently in the same situation kind of, we have been talking about marriage and I find out we were pregnant, and to me it puts life in perspective for us at least, it makes you realize how important your spouse is and that the love is only going to grow because of the baby. A baby is a blessing and maybe he feels he loves you so much and now with a baby he has that much more love for you. And on the other hand I do understand people are going to talk and say they are hunt getting married because of the baby. But in your heart you know the truth

I found out I was pregnant barely 6 weeks into a relationship. He asked me if I "wanted to get married", and I knew he was just doing it because I was pregnant. So I told him I didn't want to get married just because I was pregnant. So we stayed together, and we are happy and now 2 years later we are pregnant with #2 and have talked about getting married. Basically I'm just waiting on my ring! Don't get married because your pregnant, it's not a requirement. But if you think he was planning on proposing before hand anyway and maybe speed up asking you because your pregnant then that's different. Just be blunt and ask him if he's proposing because your pregnant not. Good luck to you :-)

I was in a similar situation. After i found out about #1 her dad proposed. I said yes but broke it off bc i thought it was bc  of the pregnancy. We split he got himself in the same situation again. Now hes married with three more kids amd very unhappy.
