Too young?

Ok. So I'm 17... I really like this guy, I met him through my best friend. But he's 14. He acts super mature, so people assume he's 16/17.Him and I do screw around. But Idk. Is he too young? Should I just let go and move on?

Honestly this question gets pretty tricky. Bc in a year you'll be 18 and it's always such a big deal when an 18 year old is with someone younger than them. But you're three years apart. It doesn't seem like much. If u enjoy his company and like hooking up with him, I think it's fine. But I wouldn't have high hopes for him maturity or relationship wise bc you two are at very different places in life. A person can change so much in three years, I know I'm not the same as I was 3 years ago. So hopefully things work out for you guys. I don't think it's a huge problem. But in my experience 1 years difference made a huge problem, the guy I was with wasn't mature enough to be with me. Idk how he is but good luck to u guys

I would say that your are too old, to be dating him, since he's so much younger then you. However, if his parents are okay with it, and your parents are as well. Then it should be okay. The only problem with this situation is that y'all's relationship is jail bait. If you were to have sex with him, and it was provable, you would be the one in trouble not him.

Im 16 (Almost 17) my boyfriend is just 15. The thing is that you have to be prepared for his immaturity even if he acts mature. The most mature guys, if they are older or younger, will have temper tantrums and bouts of absolute childishness. If you're ok with handling that, the I'd say go for it.

I believe age does not matter. Although, at a young age I believe it does. He hasn't fully developed Into a well aged boy let alone man. It would be different if you two were older and ages were different.
