Pads or Tampons? Which is the best? Which is good for health?

Hi this is Rose's hubby. My wife usually used pads. But now her favourite pad brand stopped the production and we are on a hunt to find out the pad which suit her. And we heard about tampon. But my wife is not ready to use it as she doesn't like inserting it into her vagina. Your response is valued. Thank you.

Pads are better for health. The chemicals in tampons are not regulated. It's actually ridiculous to put tampons, which are full of harmful chemicals inside your body where they can easily be absorbed. So pads are healthier no doubt.

I love tampons I always remember to change them, pads are in my opinion gross your blood catched on them and it just smears every where and it smells.

I love the tampax sport tampons. But at night I use an "overnight" weight pad.

Well, if she's not comfortable with the idea of inserting a tampon, don't force it. I think they're more convenient but they irritated me. I use a silicone cup, actually, but that's inserted much the same way and unless you're really comfortable with yourself, it's not a popular option 😕

Short version: I'd stick with pads in that case. Playtex makes good ones. And for spotting, Kotex U makes great ultrathin panty liners that I love!
