What kinds of Twins Are Mine?

Question

Tell me everything you can speculate about these twins by this ultrasound. Next scan is on 1/12, doctor said at the last appointment it was too early to tell if they have different placentas, but he is glad they are in separate sacs. What are your guesses here?

It's hard to tell... You may not be able to find out until they are born- same placenta or separate. My girls are in their own sacs and have their own placentas but my doctor said that there is still a 1/3 chance that they will be identical and we won't know for sure until they arrive😃😃😃💕

I was told I will find out once they are born. Lol. They do have own sacs, own placentas, they studied this ultrasound for over a week, it's very hard to tell. Yours looks almost like mine. Almost. Your doctor will talk more about it.

My twin girls a di-di. Own placenta & own sack. My ultrasound looked like this at around 7 weeks too! They could still be identical if they're the same sex. . . 😊😊

Looks to me like they are fraternal. They seem to have two different sacks.

They look like two seperate placentas to me.  Mine are mo-do and they are both inside one of those black circles, not two.

Here are my mo-di twins at about 8 weeks.  They wouldn't "admit it" at the 8 wk appt, but at 11 wks they confirmed that they look like the typical mono-placenta, di-amniotic twins.  As you can see, they are sharing the black circle area.  Glad that at least they have different amniotic sacs, it's a bit safer. Two placentas is even better, but that's not what we ended up with.
