5/6 weeks pregnant with pink than brown spotting with on and off cramps

I spotted tiny amount of pink cf and then it turned brown like minutes later. It has since stopped but I have been having cramps on and off that are sometimes sharp and sometimes mild. Also I am having on and off lower back pain. I am nervous because I miscarried last year. Does this sound like a start to a miscarriage? Or has anyone else experienced this??
