I'd like to take a minute to explain what autism is. Autism is a spectrum disorder. Meaning two people with autism can be completely different and struggle with different things. Autism is a developmental disorder. Meaning individuals with autism sometimes develop differently or slower than their peers of the same age.

Now that I have said this it breaks my heart that people are fighting on glow and then it is being said that someone has autism so it makes sense that they would act that way. Maybe it wasn't meant to be an insult but it comes off that way and that is upsetting to all individuals with a disability. I have PDDNOS and I work very hard to be where I am today. I just hope we can keep disabilities out of our arguments.
