How soon will your doc see you after you got your BFP?

I just found out yesterday I'm pregnant with my second baby! 🎉👶 Yaay! I called my doc to confirm the pregnancy and they won't see me before 8 weeks! That's too long I can't bear to wait 3 whole weeks! lol I remember when I found out I was pregs with my son, my doc saw me right away and confirmed the pregnancy with bloodwork and then my sonogram wasn't until 8 weeks.. What the frigg?! I need to know for sure! 😩 lol

My first appointment is at 8 weeks!!! I hate waiting! My husband wants to wait to tell anyone until after that. Im loosing it! I want to tell our immediate family. But we will see. Maybe he will cave before then.

Due to our fertility treatment and issues I saw my doctor right away to confirm pregnancy and will have my first ultrasound at 5 weeks and 4 days.

Had a BFP on 1/9, Dr's appointment isn't until 2/3. So I will be between 7-8 weeks on my appointment. Don't remember it taking this long with my last baby but that was 10-years ago.

My doctor won't do an ultrasound on us till we are 9.5 weeks. February 12. She says there will 100% be a detectable heart rate. They don't like to do it earlier than 8 weeks because it's hard to get a heartbeat and then moms freak out. (I would). They did do blood work on me though but I had to ask for it.

This is my 2nd pregnancy, and they won't see me until I reach 10 weeks. It's such a long wait. With my first, they saw me before that. I wonder why they changed their policies.

I will see a midwife at 5.5 weeks and then my OB at 9 weeks for the US. They told me they don't usually do a test to confirm anymore because their urine test is the same as the ones you take at home... I'm not sure if I should request one anyway?

My ob/gyn won't see me till February 6th! But my PCP is going to see me this Thursday. I'm asking for blood work at least

They told me the same thing plus I'm military dependent so there's protocol that I have to follow, but instead I went in person and the nurse ran my blood work at least to confirm 😀 I have my first appointment at 9 weeks :( so I have to wait 3 more weeks whomp whomp!
