Fish Antibiotics - would you keep around?

Question

Ok, this is super weird, but I'm curious if I'm being rational or pregnant (crazy).
 
My SO has been watching end of he world preppers shows. And on one episode, they have a star/participant who stock piles various antibiotics (amoxicillin, penicillin, cepro, and some other common antibiotics) which you can order online from pet supply stores. They are intended for FISH but they are the exact same antibiotics you as a human would get from the pharmacy.
 
Ok, here's my issue, antibiotics (especially the penicillin family) can be very dangerous is they expire and what if you self prescribe the wrong one?! I don't want those around since we're about to have a baby! 
 
So, let SO keep his fish antibiotics or convince him they might not be safe? That's a weird thing to stock pile, RIGHT?!

The ones for fish may have the same name, but not the same strength, and are likely powdered. There is no reason to keep that around, probably won't do much good for a human, unless you took the whole container, etc....and yes, taking antibiotics when they are not prescribed by a doctor and not following the doctors directions are 2 of the biggest contributing factors to antibiotic resistant bacteria, please do not contribute to the problem

Those antibiotics are the same as the ones prescribed by doctors. That being said, you don't take anything if it's expired. And if pregnant don't take anything w/o talking to your care provider. But I'm a prepper sense it's always better to be safe than sorry. Let your man prep as long as it doesn't interfere with your needs.

I'm slightly confused are you think of taking these antibiotics or is he just stockpiling them in case the world comes to an end.  Under no circumstances would I consider taking anything while pregnant or nursing.  If they are for stockpiling in case of an apocalypse I guess there would be no harm especially since you will probably die anyways.  That being said I would try and convince him to put the money towards things like your child's college fund or ways of babyproofing your home.  But then again who am I to say?  To each their own.
