What's after Metformin?

I'm feeling so disappointed. I have PCOS and its been almost three months since I started taking metformin.  My doctor said we would have a follow up appointment in February (if I was still not pregnate after three months of metformin). I really thought the metformin would work.  I know it's not February yet and there's still hope but I'm just feeling so discouraged.  Does anyone know what comes after metformin with PCOS?
