Contractions??

Question

What do contractions feel like? Will I know for sure when I'm having them? 
First time mommy and I'm scared I won't know if I'm having contractions. I am at 38 weeks tomorrow! 😍

Oh you will know :-) my first time I worried that my Braxton's were really contractions, until the real ones started. Holy moly there's no mistaking it, at least for me it was night and day difference.

I think it's something you will definitely know when you start having them. Have you had any Braxton hicks contractions? (Tightening of your uterus that's not painful).. With my first I started having menstrual type cramps and went to the hospital. They made me stay since I was 5 cm. but after awhile it became active labor and it was tightening in my stomach and painful every so often. I definitely think you will know when you start having them. Good luck!! I'm 39 weeks with my second and just waiting for those contractions to happen!! I'm so ready!

I had some early contractions and they just felt like really really bad period cramps.
