Yes! For baby: builds a stronger immune system, less likely to become overweight in childhood, stronger achievements throughout school years are very likely, and more. For mom: lose pregnancy weight faster, decreased risk of ovarian and breast cancers, decreased risk of other long term health conditions such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes, etc. for both: mother baby bonding is indescribable.

9 months and going strong. It's been easy mostly. Great bonding, easy to get him to sleep, he's easily consoled. Won't have to wean him from paci or bottle or even a sippy (we've gone straight to a cup). He will wean when he's ready and in good time. Makes my life much easier.

If I can, I will. If not, I wont. Sometimes there are circumstances where it just doesn't work. I'd rather my baby be nourished by formula in a bottle, than be under nourished by my bleeding nipples... that sounds harsh but I don't mean it to be!

I definitely will if I have an accident baby. I did a lot of research into legalities of formula companies. Unfortunately it is legal to have a small percentage of plastic added to formula. Im am talking about Canada and United States. The reason baby's were dying in China from it was because they exceeded the allowable plastic content. Our formula is regulated to the plastic doesn't exceed the safe levels of plastic ingestion. If it became necessary to feed my baby formula I would. I'm not against it. I just would make a big effort to breastfeed.
