Polyamorous?

Is it only a narcissistic phase? Is it common? Is it a way to avoid cheating?

I'm poly:) it's just how I am. I don't know why I just know monogamy isn't my cup of tea, even though I'm currently trying a monogamous relationship. 
Cheating is going behind someone's back. In a polyamorous relationship your partners are aware of who you're with. It keeps things safe from std's and the like.

If it's a "phase", it's a pretty long one! It's been more than 10 years and I could never go back to monogamy. It's just not for me.

My step sister is in a polyamorous relationship and it is working for her! Its not for me and idk if it is a phase or not, its not my place to say. Her boyfriend is poly (obviously) but they never get jealous because they communicate about their other relationships, if they ever pursue one. Idk if its narcissistic but she does have narcissistic tendancies, I couldn't relate it to her relationship choices though. They seem to have a loving relationship.

Its a different way of looking at relationships. If everyone's comfortable with it, no reason not to have a relationship with however many people you want. 
Its not for me - I can barely maintain the relationships I already have! But why not?
