Implanon birth control cause infertility???

Question

I have the implanon birth control for a total of 6 years. During that whole time I got my period maybe 3 times or so. I've had it out since February I got my regular period back in July. It's been 6 months with regular periods but I have not become pregnant. My boyfriend and I don't use protection. Has any had trouble conceiving after this type of birth control. I've read online that implanon causes infertility sometimes! 😕

Nexplanon has no effect on fertility once it is removed.

I had nexplanon for a 1 1/2 year and got it removed in feb 2014 , well it's going to be a year in about 3 weeks since removal and still no BFP , I really think this BC messed me up and regret getting . I'm starting to get really depressed

I had implanon in for one year. It's gonna be two years in October that we have been trying since removed. Nothing yet, I get monthly periods also. Still trying :/

I had implanon for 3 years and I have been off BC for a year. My boyfriend and I have been unprotected for 7months, but actively trying for 3. I think it just takes your body more time to get back in track because it didn't release eggs for so long. I'm pretty sure it only causes infertility if it breaks while in you. Good luck to you!!
