Whoever lost their shit over the new Annie movie either didn't see it or is just plain racist. It was good. Not exactly like the original, but good. It was modern, relevant, touching, and even a little funny. I say it was well-accomplished, more so than a lot of the other movies that are being produced within the last 5 years. It was a good remake--why is it bothering people so much that they chose a black girl as the lead? The actress was phenomenal!
