Does getting your tubes tied hurt?

I'm having my second child. We don't plan on having any more children after this one. Has anyone gotten her tubes tied? Is 26 too young for that?

26 is standard age they normally won't even consider it before then. My mom said it doesn't hurt but you can still get pregnant and that can hurt.

I had mine tied when I was27 right after my third son was born (he was a csection) since they were already in there they did it and it hurt but I'm guessing it was the csection mostly. My sis just got hers done and she was in pain for about a week but she's a big baby lol depends on your threshold 
A week after my sis got her tubes tied I went and got my tubes "untied"

My doc said 26 is too young. I joked around about getting mine tied before and my doc said she wouldn't be the one doing it! I don't know if it hurts obviously but I definitely think you should wait.

I've been afraid to do.it but bc of other reasons. My sister had it done and ended up regretting it after her fiance died and wanted kids later on with someone else
