Anyone else get paranoid?

Anyone else get paranoid for their ultrasounds? We have our second one tomorrow and even though the first one went great and I've had no cramping or bleeding I am still so nervous/scared!! I'm just terrified of a missed miscarriage. I have had two coworkers who have had them. Of course I am SO happy to get to see our little baby again but so scared something might be wrong! This is our first so maybe I'm just worrying myself too much haha anyone else feel this way?

Yep, it's definitely not just you. I woke up a few days ago convinced I was having a missed miscarriage I think for no other reason except I've been reading too much about other people's experiences. We have our next ultrasound Jan 29th. It feels like an eternity, but we will get there!

I was super scared and nervous something would be wrong at this first ultrasound today and it went great except peanut kept moving and not wanting to be measured so we get another ultrasound at 12 weeks and I'm super excited to see my little bean again :)

We lost the baby... I had a missed miscarriage. I was 9+2 today but baby stopped growing at 8+4. No heartbeat. I should have trusted my gut. About a week ago I started getting a feeling something was wrong and I was right. We are both broken up. My heart feels shattered. I only got to carry this baby for a month and a half and only got to hear the heartbeat once. But I was already in love.

I have another ultrasound today to confirm what the doctors have been fighting about. One says I've had a miscarriage so went to another who said I'm fine and baby is still there. I'm paranoid and freaking out to see what's going on. Ultrasounds are always so nerve racking

That's an understatement. I am almost 11 weeks and have had 3 ultra sounds (some problems I was having) every time I would hold my breath until I saw the embryo and then I cried lol. 12 week scan is the 26 and I'm crawling out of my skin in anticipation!

Ultrasound is in a few hours. I'm so nervous and excited and scared and happy all at the same time. Just praying our little one is okay and growing as he should!!! 😬

I was missing some forms and sometimes they turn you away if you're missing bits of paperwork and I was going away for two weeks so couldn't just come back the next day. To be honest I was more nervous about NOT getting the ultrasound!

But once I saw that little heart fluttering away my fears melted.

I struggle to be optimistic but someone once told me "Focus on the things you can control. Worrying about the rest is like hitting your head on a brick wall - it hurts and it won't change the outcome."

It's normal to worry and talking about your fears with your partner might help. I hope (s)he's a good listener and will offer comforting words.

Absolutely!! I was terrified before my appointment today that they wouldn't find a heartbeat with the Doppler.  The feeling of relief when she did was amazing!

I am laying awake because I can't sleep.  I have a second ultrasound tomorrow & I'm scared to death there will be a problem...  I had a missed miscarriage in May.  I was 11 weeks & 4 days when I began to spot.  Went to the ER & was told the baby didn't have a heartbeat & was only measuring 9 weeks.  This was after having a perfect ultrasound @ 8 weeks with a heartbeat!  So, I completely understand!
