A survey is not how you get an accurate answer for a question like this. Ask a doctor. There are plenty of women that will swear they got "periods" during early pregnancy or even the whole pregnancy. A period is when the uterin walls shed because a fertile egg did not implant. If you are pregnant you will not shed. Spotting is very common and commonly mistaken for a period.
