I kept mine in for my first, it caused more pressure on that part of my skin and made a gross little patch of stretch marks around my belly button.

I'm thinking I'll take mine out at some point, but I have a pregnancy one in case I decide to keep it in.

I kept mine for my first pregnancy won't a Prego bar it was called.  My second pregnancy it burned and itched so badly I took it out.  Good luck!
