Is this normal??

I plan to ask my OB at my next appointment but I thought I would get your opinion first. 
So I am 31 weeks and I am a ftm. I have been having pain in my vagina for a few weeks now. It feels like I have been kicked down there and now have a bruise but there is no bruise. It hurts to turn side to side when I lay down and sometimes when I walk. Does anyone else have experience with this?

I have that. It sounds like pelvic girdle pain. My doc said to avoid walking up hills and stairs. Also to take regular beers and small steps. Try not to open your legs as it will make it worse. I sleep with pillows between my legs and find that not sitting on something too soft helps. Sitting on something harder that supports my posture helps keep my pelvis straighter. My physio has strapped my back, I wear a Tubey grip to help keep my ligaments/pelvis/muscles more stable and I also have crutches to keep weight off my pelvis.

It sounds like relaxin. It's a hormone that loosens your pelvic joins. I had the same pain w/my 1st son & the doc told me it's just your pubic joint preparing for labor. I've been feeling it for a few weeks w/my 2nd son. The only thing that helps is to put a pillow between my legs. Ask your doc just to be sure it's not something else though. Hope you feel better soon.

Same here, but it feels like someone punched just the right half of my lady parts! Ha! I also pulled a muscle near there, so I figured it was related to the loosing of our muscles & the pressure from baby.
