Should teens ttc be fully able to take care of their baby without relying on parents for financial or housing support?

I got pregnant with my daughter @ 17..I had a job and started to save tons of my money...I got an apartment by choice..and continued to work in the day and go to school at night..she's now 6 and I'm 24..I haven't ever gone home or relied on my family to support us..it's hard but can be done!

I believe so. Unfortunately I hadn't found a job when we conceived our little miracle and now my boyfriend is our only support. I don't regret my little peanut but I do wish I had a job to have money in the bank and something to do daily. Now no one will hire me. Having money/ being financially stable will 100% make raising a child easier. Children cost a lot of money.

I've been working all through high school and have my licence, and been living along since I was 16, I'm 17 now and I can do it with maturity leave

Definitely if your trying for a baby then yes you should be financially responsible as well. But if you have the help then even better but if your trying you should be able to do it on your own.

Yes, I'm 16 with a weekend job to make extra money, husband is 18 with a great job making great money. We have an apartment and take care of our own bills without anyone's help.
