I had implanon on for 2 2/2 yrs and when i had it taken out the doctor said it will be out of my system that day or the very next day.

I was on the pill (high dosage) for over 4 years I only had 1 real cycle before getting pregnant. My drs won't count the bleeding after stopping the pill as a period.

It took me about 3 cycles to get back to normal and I had been on the pill for 2 yrs.

It's different for everyone, and I think it also depends on what kind of birth control method you are using. I got pregnant as soon as I came of the nuvaring (1st cycle). Some friends mentioned it took 2 to 3 cycles for them for things to go back to normal. Good luck!
