So, anyone else out there that if they are not on birth control or infertility meds their period does NOT go away?? I can seriously have my period (full, heavy bleeding) for months if I don't take anything to control it. I got my period when I was only 9 years old and had my period for 9 months straight before it stopped for a few weeks & started right back up. Doctors didn't want to put me on BC that young, but I ended up having to go on it at age 11 since nothing else could be done. I am now 35 and STILL have this issue. I literally had to have surgery last January to stop my period since 4 different medications, including BC wouldn't stop it. I have PCOS & endometriosis so that ads to my infertility :-( If anyone else has had this issue please tell me what you did to help get your cycle back on track. I just don't know what to do anymore. So frustrating, especially when we want to have a family so badly.
