I worked to discontinue lexapro (for anxiety) as we were trying to get pregnant. In the months after, we finally made the decision for me to go back on medication (this time, Prozac) as recommended by my mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in pre/postnatal care. I couldn't have made it another week, let alone 9 months, so it was the right choice for me. Shortly after starting Prozac, I am excited to say we are now pregnant. Is anyone else continuing medication through pregnancy? Or had a healthy pregnancy while on medication? Please don't post negative comments- I appreciate your understanding that this is the best, healthiest decision for me at this time, and one that is certainly not taken lightly.
