Hey, guys I wanted to get our group members personal opinions on why women who date much younger guys are called "Cougars" but men don't have a special name. What is up with that?

My mom has said he was a craddle robber. 0.o which is horrible and way worse then being called a cougar :(

I've been called a Cougar and it irritates me primarily because it referred to an older woman out on the prowl for young guys and that's not who I am. BUT my SO looks at it like I'm a hot older woman with a young guy and I should be proud to be a Cougar. Guess the age gap (generational gap) will keep us separated on this use.

Actually, I've read that younger women who prefer older men are called "panthers." Not sure why, but that's what we are according to urban dictionary, lol 😝
