I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. Just over a year ago I had surgery on my kidney. Around 24 weeks baby girl was getting big enough to make that pain come back. I ended up in the hospital because I was throwing up in pain. They prescribed me oxycodone and I had 3 OB's tell me it was ok to take because it's better than stressing the baby out from the extreme pain. The doctors told me I will have to grin and bear it until the end of my pregnancy.  I am still experiencing the pain and hate taking the pain pills. Little miss has her feet right by my kidney, and seems to think it's fun to kick. I have tried hot pads, Tylenol, baths, and today I tried acupuncture. Unfortunately the accupuncture made it so bad I was back to throwing up from the pain. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I can do to help me manage this pain?
