Not finding out gender?

Question

Is anyone out there letting the sex of their baby be a surprise? Everyone keeps telling me that I'm crazy for not finding out, and it seems everyone is posting the gender on here. I wish more people just let it be a surprise, there are too few things in life that are true surprises.

Not finding out here either. I know myself well enough to know that if I knew the gender, I'd immediately start creating expectations..."dancer, basketball player, etc" and I want my child to grow into themselves rather than me immediately start planning their strengths and preferences, ya know? People also tell me I'm crazy for waiting but it's far from a concern :)

I'm not finding out! I agree that there are so few surprises in life and this might be the greatest 😊 I thought I wanted to know really badly until about 14 weeks, then I decided if I could wait until then I can wait until it's born! Plus if you KIND of have a preference, by the time the baby comes you will just be so exited to see the BABY, and not the BOY or GIRL. Absolutely no disappointment (though I don't know anyone who actually would be disappointed..)

We aren't finding out! I'm hoping it will a good motivator at pushing time! Besides I would waste a lot of money on clothes and things if I new which gender to buy for. There's only so many gender neutral things that are cute.

We're not finding out. We didn't find out with our first and it was just the most amazing, anticipated surprise when the time came (they say it makes you push harder)! It stops me from going crazy and spending heaps of money on gender specific clothing/accessories!

I'm not finding out... Baby has been a surprise from the two lines so feel it's only right to keep it a surprise. I've got 4 children 3 girls and a boy, found out every other time. It's great to know bit the excitement wears off quickly after you've finished shopping.
