So my best friend from college (who still lives in Alaska) has been planning to come to my wedding in Vegas this April for over a year, and today I checked to see if she had got her plane ticket, and she said she had, and told me that her BOYFRIEND (who I haven't even met!!) is coming down with her. I DID NOT INVITE HIM! She was a freshman when I was a senior, but we were dormed together because I was 18. She's a junior now and I haven't seen her since I graduated, and I imagined that when she'd come down to the lower 48, we could kick it and have girl time  like my fiancé will be kicking it with his boys. But she's bringing her boyfriend, who my fiancé doesn't know and is much older than, and I don't want to make my fiancé hang out with this kid he doesn't know, especially when he hasn't seen his alaska friends in so long...but I also don't want boyfriend tagging along to everything we do 1. Because I don't know this foo and 2. Because he's a guy and that pretty much fucks up the whole idea and the entire plan--pedicures, spa appointments, bachelorette party, bridal shower, and DIY decorating...all of which I planned to do with my bridesmaids. I didn't invite her boyfriend to come hang out for two weeks, I invited her!! Not only is it adding an extra head to the guest list (the wedding is costing us $400 a head), but I had two weeks of activities planned for me to do with my bridal party. I just don't know what to say. I'm so pissed I'm actually crying about it. I just think she at least could have asked me. I kinda voiced my concerns, but it's not like I don't want to meet him because she's obviously In love with him. But I don't want him attached to the hip with her because he doesn't know anyone but her. I'm just so frustrated, I had to vent.
