Wine... Ok?

Question

I've been told that one glass of wine on In a while, while pregnant, wouldn't affect the baby. How do you ladies feel? Any shared experiences would be appreciated!

I had a few smirnoff ices during my pregnancy and maybe a bit more before I knew i was pregnant. 
I also smoked drank coffee and caffinated drinks and had a fairly unhealthy diet (mostly cravings and my brother ate my dinner before I got home from work) and sugary cravings.
I went on roller-coasters (upto 12 weeks) I went to nightclubs (with 3 bodyguards :) and sat down for most of the night) I ate fish, peanuts, and a lot of things that are no longer allowed.

My son is happy and healthy he was 7 lbs 13 oz and came just after his due date. he has no allergies, he's sporty, loves the smell of petrol and wants to be a vet when he's older. He eats 1 veg and 2 fruit before asking for a sweet or crisps.

The odd one won't hurt

I think as long as your doctor says it's okay and you feel comfortable with it, then it's okay. One glass of wine with dinner won't hurt your baby. (Again, this is provided your doctor has said that this is safe for you in particular)

Up to you.  No one knows how much is too much as far as effects.  One mom could drink every day and have a healthy baby while another could have 1 drink a trimester and her baby could have fas.

Me personally I wouldn't, but my sister had glasses of wine throughout her pregnancy and her boy came out fine.

I had a few glasses in my late pregnancy & some champagne for the New Year. My midwife said it was okay & totally my decision. Never more than a glass though & I sipped soooo slllooowwwwly :)
