I don't think so. For me, I notice when I gain 5-10. Anything below that is too subtle.

It honestly depends on the person.. How much do they already weigh? What's their body type?
Example: My mom is itty bitty. She's 5' and literally weighs 93lbs at the moment. She also only puts weight on in her thighs and butt, so 3lbs is pretty noticeable. I, however, weigh 220 at the moment, am 5'8", and put weight on more evenly so when I gain or loose even 5lbs it's not as noticeable.

I notice, but I'm really short so I notice things like that more easily.

On me, no. But I'm 5'8" with a long torso. I can't really see 3 lbs making a big difference on anybody really.
