What do you consider "trashy" tattoos?

Just wondering. Why do you find them trashy?

Tattoos aren't trashy. People are trashy. I have seen bad tattoos, but trashy is more about character and behavior. I try to base my opinions of people on their actions and attitude as opposed to making assumptions based on their appearance.

The only tattoos I view as trashy are poorly done, inappropriate material (genitalia, swear words, etc.), and a sometimes facial ones.

Lol I can tell you what a "tramp" stamp is or technically why it's called that. 
Back in the day where I live, girls were called tramps if their jeans were so low (and shirts so short) that their thong or ass crack hung out.  Then these girls started putting tattoos on this area.. Hence the name Tramp Stamp. It's even in the encyclopedia as a tattoo above a woman's ass crack. Also says not classy. Once it's called that, it's hard to come back as a good thing to do lol.

The only reason I said tramp stamp is because all the ones I've seen are either crappy or say something like "enter here for pleasure" or some wet dripping cherries or something nasty. I love tattoos!! And I wouldn't mind getting a tramp stamp but it sure the heck wouldn't have some nasty saying or be crappy for my to get one! I rather have a full back peice then a tramp stamp

I have a tramp stamp that goes all the way across my back and I have never once had a negative comment. I already had a tattoo on my right shoulder and since its a huge tattoo, I out it in my lower back. There is a flower for my grandma, a butterfly for a family friend who was like another dad to me, and Harley Davidson in between them because they rode. I will be getting another tattoo next Fri (my fourth) in honor of people with cancer in my life. My whole back is dedicated to cancer survivors and people who have passed from it. I dont think it matters where the tattoo is, what matters is the meaning of it to you :)

Tatts are waaaaay more exceptible in the work field nowadays. Basically you can't judge just bc they have tatts

I've had both positive and negative comments about my tattoos. Especially the one on my chest. It's only trashy if it looks bad.

I love tattoos but I have seen some...bad ones. What I like to do when I get tattoos is think of if I would still be proud to have it on my skin 40 plus years down the road.
