Doesn't hurt to get it done but god does it hurt the next day. The swelling is the worst bit. You will live of ice cream for a bit.

The worst was the clamp. If you can take having your tongue clamped your good. He left the clamp on long enough to numb my tongue and I felt a little poke and that's all. It would have been fine if I didn't drool all over myself in the process.

Not at all. But after 2 years my denist told me if I didn't take it out in 10years my bottom teeth would fall out Cuz I the tonge ring on the bottom pulls on ur gums when u talk or eat.
I didn't care I loved it I was 16 at the time.
Than when I was around 20 I noticed it more & more my bottoms gums would start hurting so I decided I liked my teeth better than the tonge ring.

It didn't really hurt when it was actuality pieced.  It hurt like a bitch AFTER when it swelled up for like a week..

It didnt really, kinda uncomfortable. Just make sure you eat and are full or youll be starving for awhile...

The muscles in your tongue are striated, so they sort of just move over when the tongue is pierced. It hurt a bit but I agree the clamp was the worst. I ended up taking mine out because my body had a reaction to it and tried to reject it. I had very swollen lymph nodes for weeks..wasn't fun!

To me it felt good. My tongue was only swollen for like 2 days but it did not hurt. I ate anything I wanted and I have had my tongue pierced 3 times and going for a 4th time. I love it
