Birth control helped me immensely with regulating my periods and calming down the acne I had. I started at 16, my dermatologist recommended it after plenty of other treatments failed. My mom was against it at first but the results were undeniable. And I didn't run out and have sex because of it, either-- I have some respect for myself and was sad she must have doubted that. Definitely talk to her about it. Or you can talk to your doctor about it, or go to planned parenthood where they will keep confidentiality.
Birth control
I've been having issues with my periods for several years now. Sometimes I don't have one at all. Or else they get so bad to the point I throw up for feel to dizzy or sick to do anything. I get really shaky too and cold the whole time I'm on one. A lot of times they are heavy. Or else so light I barely have a period. I'm 17. I've told my mom about this issue and she doesn't ever really say much. What should I do? Should I consider birth control? I've never been on it before. My mom seems like she would be VERY against it too. That's why I am to scared to ask to be put on it. :(
