Rape?

When i was 7 or younger me and my family went to my uncle's apartment. I remember my cousin who is a girl(like me) taking me into her parents bedroom,closing the door and getting on top of me on the bed. Im not sure if shr started kissing me..This is all i can remember and it terrifies me. Is there a way that i can remember what happened and is this sort of rape?

Also, if ur cousin was older than you then she should have known better. If your cousin was your age or close to your age then she too was probably acting out what had been done to her. Ive worked with many siblings who have molested and raped each other because it was all they knew since it was done to then. Kids can unknowingly be sexual predators to others and not know it..the point is that u feel traumatized by the experience and it was uncomfortable enough for ur mind to block it out so u could function. do not let anyone tell u that if ur cousin was ur age then that it was normal because that is not the truth. If u did not consent or even if u were too young to know what was going on.,it is still considered sexual abuse even if ur cousion was ur age or not

As a psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist, i am trained and highly skilled at helping people recover blocked memories. Your cousin could have done something to you, however maybe see if you can get into some therapy. If ur afraid to say that to ur parenrs maybe say "i would like to talk to a coubselor about stress and school pressures."  I get teens coming to see me all the time with that excuse and later find out that there is significant trauma and what they told their parents was an excuse to come to therapy. Im not sure ur circumstances but u may call google a rape crisis hotline and ask questions for free about what u could do to get help. Be well dear!

Honestly, you don't want to remember. I wish I could forget my rape. It sounds like you only had sexual assault which is awfu and did you tell anyone? You can still be heard

It's sexual abuse and I can't say if you will remember its alot of things I can't remember and I dont understand why. But one day it'll come back when you keast expect it

You could have blocked a lot of the actual rape because it was traumatizing. Younger children can have selective amneisia this way, from sexual/physical/emotional abuse! I would see if you could talk to a professional or a hypnotist. At least tell your family or a trusted person!
