Sex delay period?

So I was supposed to start about a week and a half ago but my boyfriend have been having sex a couple days or so, and I still haven't started. Does sex delay anyone else's period? Is that even possible?

Yes, I've had this problem too! Anytime I have sex the week before my period is due, it delays it. Not sure what the scientific reasons are, but my body does the same thing. It's always a little scary though, esp. When it's 2-3 days late.
